CyberFusion 2009 @ Cyberjaya Malaysia set a new Guinness World Record for the World's Longest LAN Party with 274 participants playing for 40 hours non-stop at the Grand Hall of Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia. The Record Breaking event started on the 11th of April at 12 a.m. and ended on 12th of April at 4 p.m. Mr.Talal Omar, the official Guiness World Records adjudicator, was there to announce the new record. In April, as a kickstart event, Cyberview organized the World Record Breaking LAN Party – CyberFusion 2009 @ Cyberjaya. This event drew world attention, specifically the attention of the games and games developmentworld on Cyberjaya. Besides being promotional, CyberFusion 2009 included educational aspects and most importantly, provided a sampling ShowCase of the games talent pool in Malaysia. |
